Slag Granulation Plant

In cooperation with Kopar (Finland) we supplied and put into commercial operation a copper slag granulation plant for the largest copper smelter in Chile.

The plant include a granulation system, a steam hood and condenser, a bucket elevator/dewatering system, a dewatering screen and a complete closed circuit for water, including pumps, a clarifier for fines separation, fin-fan coolers and a cooling tower. The granulated slag coming from the dewatering screen is transported by a box type conveyor to the storage bin and transported by trucks for final disposal.
