Drying Tower for Acid Plant

This Drying Tower was designed, supplied and mounted by Coppex, along with Fleck Chemical (Canada) and Ocegtel (Chile). It dries gases coming from a wet gas cleaning system from an existing acid plant, for a flow of 85,000 m3/hr and 99.7 drying efficiency.

The project, developed during 2007, included the drying tower with anti-acid lining, dome and ceramic covering, acid distributor, SX piping system, gas ducts to connect to the existing system and the associated instrumentation.

Coppex can provide complete Drying and Abosortion Towers for acid plants, with the objective of plant revamping, and also supply components.
